Founded in 2014, The JFW is a six-week summer program in Israel, designed for talented young filmmakers from all over the world. 24 selected participants will get a once in a lifetime experience, being guided by some of Israel’s top filmmakers, taking their skills to the next level, while creating an original short film on the best documentary film set in the world - Jerusalem.

Originally from California, based in Tel Aviv. 'Muhi' (2017) has won Best Directorial Debut at DocAviv, was nominated for an Israeli Academy award, has screened at Hot Docs, AFI Docs, and others. His short docs have been published by The NY Times, Discovery, CNN, David Lynch Foundation and others.

Yaniv Linton is a cinematographer, among his works are numerous documentaries, feature films and TV drama series’. Films he shot won Emmy awards as well as international film festivals and Israeli film and television awards. Yaniv graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem, where he is currently a lecturer.

Michal Weits is an Israeli documentary director and producer. Former head producer of the leading Israeli documentary Channel 8; distributor; and founder of 'Tape Runners'-an independent production company which produced "WALL" (2017)- winner of DocAviv film festival.

Winning first prize at the Cannes Film Festival ("Anna", 2016), and an Israeli Academy award ("April Fools", 2015), Noy is one of the leading editors in Israel. Head editor of Channel 10 News.
